Thanks so much for the feedback! This is the first description I've seen regarding the interior quality. Very helpful even if Chevy does say that the materials will be different. And, thanks for the pics too!

you wonder why some of us care about trunk space and then ask about the logos on the door sills?

im using my trunk constantly...the door sill logos? not so much....

anyone else really not liking the steering wheel?

I personally love the steering wheel. The shape looks perfect (not weird and oblong like some flat bottoms), the Camaro wordmark is back, and I prefer the look over the corvette wheel even

There is a hidden key in the fob. It will either open the drivers door so you can pop the hood and jump it, or it will open the trunk so you can jump it from there (this is what the corvette does, since it has no door handles).

I still call the fob a "key". Same think with my key at work, it's actually one of those magnetic badges, but it unlocks a lock, and thus I think key is an apt descriptor for both.

If it's like my BMW, there is a key that pulls out of the fob. There are plastic covers over the door handle locks that it will open. Think someone said the Caddy keys are the same.

I'm not a fan of "CAMARO" spelled out on the steering wheel with the big ring around it. I think it looks funny. I would much rather have had the new/old Camaro emblem on the horn button.

Also, I have never in the history of my car viewing life seen a trunk opening as stupid as what Chevy has done AGAIN. Why can't the taillights (or part of them anyway) be mounted to the trunk so they get the hell out of the way when its open? Does the Mustang's trunk look anything like this? I find it ridiculous.

Lastly, $4k for rims from GM is the highest form of blatant greed. I don't mind them making a profit, but I can buy an entire running automobile for that kind of money and they are just 4 hunks of cast aluminum, machined a little and painted. Come talk to me when they are at least forged. /end rant

Yeah the new Cadillac keys look similar to the new Chevy ones, there is a little button that you push and the key pops out on the bottom, but I don't see a lock cylinder on the drivers door on the Camaro, so not sure if this will be the same or slightly different.

I agree completely. Looks like the Mustang has the same issue. Just seems like they could fix it. Trunk depth is often a big factor in getting things in there too. My 328i is horrible in trunk depth. My wife's '13 Fiesta can fit more in the trunk for crying out loud.

LOL complaining about trunk space, lumbar support, sills, and rims. U get what u get. It's a very potent modern camaro light years ahead of its predecessor. If u want trunk space get an impala. Or a 4th gen. If u don't like the rims, do like the rest of us... Change them. If u want to play golf, put them in the back seat that you're never going to sit in. If you want lumbar support, get a freaking Cadillac. Im sure the final product will have it, but does anyone really need lumabar support? So much negativity!
The steering wheel shape is awesome. Very sporty and actually fits the sportier smaller camaro. Only thing I would change is like others said, the camaro in the center of the wheel with the chrome ring around it for maybe just SS or a camaro symbol and the silver around the side buttons. Sometimes less is
More. Simplicity, like the rest of the dash. But none of this is enough to complain about or turn me away from it. Some people are so picky. Sheesh!
