So dealer price is lower than invoice, correct? From what I understand dealer price is what the dealer pays and is slighty lower than invoice.

Ok, so here's my thought. Add up my 2SS with all options at MSRP and also at the dealer pricing as shown. Does it seem reasonable to get a dealer to split the difference of the two? My MSRP is 48,870 and dealer pricing is 45,185.40. My goal would be to get the car for 47K +tax.

Depends on what you consider stripped down, it still has air, killer brakes, decent radio, recaros etc.

It will be interesting to see the sales numbers for the rest of the year. 5th Gen Camaro sales might spike because people were waiting to know 6th gen. prices.

Will be ironic if the Camaro outsells the Mustang for the rest of 2015.

I was told that price was invoice price. Hope that wasn't incorrect lol.

Yet to hear of a dealer not marking up a GT350. They are said to just be a two year run with limited production, can't compare that to a GT500 that was easy to get 3-4 grand off sticker with ease.

Inflation has not gone up THAT much in 17 years, has it?
$27K in 1999 is about $38K in 2015 dollars. That's about what the 2016 1SS costs. With the exception of the leather, I would say that a loaded '99 still won't have all the toys of a '16 1SS, and of course the new one is much faster, much safer, etc, etc.

where do you all who say "we get close to Zl1 performance" get it from, because Al O said so? I also said that we'd be pleasantly surprised on the pricing.
i'll believe it when i see independent side by side reviews.

as for pricing, i'd rather see no electronic nannies and tech but standard lsd with lower price point.

i'm curios if the whole chevy marketing dept is trolling here under different nicks to convince people make peace with the price

Plus you get a warranty with the new one unless you get a tune.

I'm a little heartbroken the price went up that much. The debate to keep the '14 or upgrade to '17 just got harder. Half the options not included on the 2SS are the ones I want (mag ride and adjustable exhaust).
