http://www.camaro6.com/forums/showthread.php?t=417143 Tell them the order banks are open when they use GMWorkbench. They'll check. The answer will be "yes, we can order them". Then you order it. It may take a deposit depending on your dealer. It is an excellent idea to be knowledgeable on EXACTLY what you'd like. things such as RPO codes will go a very long distance in this process. |

It stands for "regular production order" code. For each car GM assigns a "RPO" code for different options. An example would be for the '16 Camaro, the regular radio w/o nav would be coded IOB. The upgraded radio (think 2LT/2SS) would be IO5, and the upgraded radio with nav would be IO6. They are just codes to ensure that you get the car you want.

And if you get a dealer that looks at you like you are from space when you ask them to order one for you, either insist and like what said above, shown them one of the various threads containing scanned order sheets from us who have ordered, or just walk and go to a dealer that is willing to actually help you. Just like the dealers that will try and get a dealer markup price, just walk and go to a dealer that will not over price.
