Honestly, I'm ashamed to own a car from the same brand as those guys. I have never seen a crowd like that and I have been on plenty of forums. Subaru, Dodge, Chevy..

It's common to see 0.6 to 0.8 % difference between identical machines. We chalk it up to variations in material thickness and scale tolerance. You can weigh the exact machine six times in a row and get a slightly different result every time. (That 0.8 % would be 30lbs difference on a 3700 lb car) I looked at the other sides site after it was mentioned here a few a few months back. It's like a alternate universe with a lead goon and a half dozen bobble heads that defend everything said. Amusing at first but gets old. GM lies, GM pays off everyone else to lie, track comparisons by mags are lies and the Mustang dominates in the only real form of racing.... the SCCA (amateurs with mods)

Just to be clear. When weighing the same machine on the same scale consecutive times, the variation is much less. Say 0.1% Drive the same machine across town (or country) and the result can be very different. We use to joke that the force of gravity in California was greater. This area is one of my responsibilities and I've seen weights of 1000s of machines so I know it well and can back what I've said with data

When Chevy puts out a new Camaro, it is designed to beat the current Mustang. Why release it otherwise? Just keep working on it until it's better. Same with Ford making a new Mustang. Why would the make a new one that can't beat the current Camaro? Just that logic alone tells me the 2016 Camaro will beat the 2016 Mustang. Then, sooner or later, Ford will come out with a Mustang that will beat the (then)current Camaro. The only exception, is the latest Mustang, because Ford eventually had to go to IRS, and that adds weight no matter what. The Mustang fans have to suck it up with regards to weight. IRS is better, and worth it. The rest of the car is great. Looks like a mustang, solid engine choices, very nice interior, etc. I don't like everything, but I don't like everything in the Camaro either. If you like the Mustang, buy one and be happy. Don't worry about another car coming out later that can beat yours (that is guaranteed to happen). Who cares? Enjoy your car, and have fun.

I do like that we got real wheels. It's amazing if the Gen6 comes in below the Mustang, adding the fact it has 20x8.5/20x9.5 and the stang has 18x8.5 or 19.8.5 IIRC. |

just wait until the turbo four is available, the V8 Camaro guys will have a field day!I agree, M6G is a train wreck which seems to be a result of little or no moderation. Of course, over-moderation is also an issue on other forums I visit, so I guess they have elected to let people have their say over there whether it is opinion, speculation our outright falsehood. Didn't you get banned from over there? Quite an accomplishment and might account for your hate of the site, don't you think? |

It can't? Or are you only speaking to the 1LE packaged Camaro versus the PP packaged GT? Otherwise, the new Mustang beat the old Camaro across the board from everything I've seen/read.
