you should take a look inside just about any thread about the Mustang in this section. I think you will be surprised how much hate there is for Ford on here.

Just throwing this out there, from my own experience when you want to see fanboys at their worst there is 2 sites you go to. Camaro5 and SVTP (and mustang6G is getting there too). SVTP might be the worst. I remember there was a good while over there where if you had a mustang but it wasn't a SVT you were looked down on.

I am on all sorts of forums, car forums, truck forums, gun forums, movie forums. Camaro5 and SVTP has had the most fanboy users I have seen(acutally the 1911 vs glock fans might be worse haha). but these sites also have some of the most useful info too.

SVTP doesn't revolve around Camaro's. I've been on their almost 7 years and most of the threads are tech, racing, 03/04 Cobra vs. 5.0, GT500's are worse than 5.0's, etc. Camaro's come up, but, not all the time out of the 15,000,000 threads the site has.

I've been on here a few years and I will say the hate toward (Not just Ford) but ANYTHING not a Camaro is VERY strong. Hell, even Corvette's are hated on here. Then you've got the V6 group slamming SS's, Vette's, 5.0's, GT500's, etc. and discussing speed. ZL1 guys bashing the GT500, Exotics, Ford GT, making fun of the lower model Camaro's, etc.

It's a two-way street bro. Both sides have it.

Wow didn't really realize it could be that bad here. Granted my views on this forum are pretty limited considering I really only hang around General Automotive and Camaro6.

On the Ford side the latest hate (and there's a lot of it) from other mustang owners is towards the new S550 in regards to some weight gain and a couple of what they consider poor drag times. Same with the Fusion talk, most bring up "hey I though I saw the new Mustang in my rearview but is was just a fusion". Sure it will seem that way if you're biased. But wait till you actually see a Mustang in your rearview, I doubt very many will confuse it for a fusion.

Most of the hate is not, they are laughing at the obese 5th gens in particular. LOTS of chevy guys over there that went Mustang this gen.

What? Do you mean previous gen camaro or mustang? Because I'm over there every day for a lot of the day and haven't seen anything in regards to any previous gen camaro. And I definitely haven't seen much negative to prior gen Mustangs aside from any live axle or interior comments.

As for the 5th gen camaro hate, almost all of the hate from 6g towards the camaro comes from one person. I'm sure everyone here knows who that is. However I think the GM hate is overall more than the Camaro specifically. Also over at 6g IMO from what I see is a lot are Fanboys when it comes to them thinking Ford can do no wrong when it comes to the S550. Always excuses for Ford coming out of every corner defending Ford, when clearly they failed on several levels when it comes to this next generation of Mustang. Ford also succeeded on many as well. But anyhow.


Shaffe, most of the other Mustang forums just plain simply don't like the new S550.

I can attest that this site (camaro5) is a lot worse at fan boyism. Or in other words Camabro'ism.

But having been a member at SVTP since '02, lol they do love them Terminators. Its kinda sad really, its why I;ve been surfing these forums more lately. Just something different and something that doesnt have to do with a 2003/2004 Cobra.
