I've been trying to see if Ford fans have a site as well received as we have camaro5, do they have one?

Trying to do some research on a '14 GT500, and can't seem to find a site that has as high volume as this site does.

Very few sites are close to camaro5. I've been a member and mod of different car websites over the years and nothing has come close to camaro5 yet.

Any you would recommend? I'm debating an upgrade to a GT500 next year, and i want to begin my research and understand what issues impact that car.

Great, I'll take a look there and see what I can find. I am essentially looking for background on issues, TSBs, things to expect. After I've been reading for the last couple weeks about these cam failures, I'm starting to question an upgrade over parts installs. And if I go that way, I love the look of the '14 GT500.

I'm waiting for people to start buying up the '15 5.0s and for the GT350 to be announced, then I hope it blows the current GT500 away, so it lowers the resale a little haha

Unless Im mistaken, every thread or so has the word 'crapmaro' or 'piece of shitt', etc when talking about chevys at SVT. Bunch of fanboys who think their car is the only fast car in the world.

Seriously, the hate is strong. While plp are usually big fan of Camaro here, theres not so much hate toward Ford.

Those cam failures are all related to comp cams too. Cam motion is the way to go now. Plp are maybe using wrong oil with ultra agressive lobe on a DD.

Some of the mustang forums feel the same about camaro5 as you do SVTP. Pretty sure it's that way no matter what forum you're a part of. Each side has their set of very vocal fanboys that would make it appear that way. Granted I'm not a member over at SVT P and haven't spent a lot of time over there, but I can tell ya the other forum I am a member of has that same general consensus of C5. I used to have the same impression until I spent a little more time over here and realized it's just a few members. Those few members seem to spoil it for the rest of the forum community.

Personally I don't see it much on either side anymore, it's just a few vocal members in each forum. All the forums seem to generally have a very friendly atmosphere. At least Chevy/Ford.

Facebook/Youtube is where the hate is really strong on either side.

New GT probably won't have that effect but the new SVT offering may.

You'll have hate no matter what forum you go to. The "classiest" (in a good non-bais, non-harassment environment) forum I've found is Club Lexus, which is where I started my research on the IS-F back in 2012 before I went with the Camaro instead on price v. hp. (Which I may be looking back into again along with the Shelby)

I am unbias for the most part. I love my imports, I love my american cars, I just buy who offers me the best bang for my buck.

Also, in regards to the cam, cam motion has posted in LS1tech that they have also experienced cam failures, but yet, no one will take responsibility for WHY. That, is what scares me most. Everyone points fingers rather than look at their own process.
