It really grinds my gears when someone in front of me is merging on to the highway (65mph speed limit) only doing like 40mph and takes the next mile or so to even get up to 55mph. This happens to me about 3-4 times a week going to work. Inevitably it's a car that is more than capable of getting to full speed on the on ramp but just refuses to do so!

Back when I was in college and myself an obnoxious idiot I used to get into it with them fairly often in my Audi S4 and I had no problem torching the vast majority of them. Every Camaro SS on here is certainly faster than that S4 was, so in Atlanta at least the odds are good that the guy revving the "POS" next to you is NOT in fact faster. I'm still giving you a 80% chance of being faster in a V6 Camaro.

THIS! here in AZ most ricers are POS as well. This wasn't me bashing Ricers or imports. It was just me saying that most of the guys who drive them around here are douche bags and think their cars are fast when it fact, they are not.

Don't get me wrong, my car is a V6 and some ricers are indeed capable of taking on my car with ease.

With that said, why do you care what others do to their car? They are just having fun with their car as you are yours.. Ricer or not, not every kid/adult has the funds to go balls out, doesn't mean they don't enjoy what they have or the mods they do/can afford..

And fact is still some of those so called ricer's can take down most of the Camaros on this forum and visa versa. There will always be someone out there that is a better driver with a car faster and better no matter what they drive..

Respect and respect will be givin, maybe not with everyone but that next guy can be someone cool as other "REAL/TRUE" car guys.

It's the exact same passion and love of cars that drives ricers they are just a little more (well... much more) over the top than the muscle car scene. I'd really be interested in seeing this world from the inside and figuring out why it draws so many people in. After that? I'm donking a 90's Cadillac. Lather, rinse, repeat.
