Agreed but it does not have twin turbos. Just the one turbo.

What "grinds my gears" is people who own and enjoy a certain brand or type of car which to them automatically makes everybody else's cars a POS and inferior and somehow that is a representation of the driver of said "POS". We all share the same hobby, respect is received when it is given and it just may be that the "ricer" next to you has a faster POS than yours.

I used to think my old LS was fast (and the V6 Camaros *are* fast cars, to a degree) but any time I see a "ricer" that looks like it has some work done on it, I assume it's quite capable to beating my car (both my old LS and my current 2LT)

With some of those cars, the weight difference alone will take out that car..

There is a kid up the street with a nice Subaru that I wouldn't even give it a try, that car will kill my camaro, and I own a 2SS/RS, I know the limitations of my car.

Just because it says Camaro doesn't mean it will take out the imports.

I think you're giving the ricers too much credit. Maybe it's because I live in Atlanta, but in my experience 1/10 of those cars are genuinely fast and 9/10 are crappy, stock 135hp 4 bangers with fart can exhausts being driven by obnoxious idiots.

Back when I was in college and myself an obnoxious idiot I used to get into it with them fairly often in my Audi S4 and I had no problem torching the vast majority of them. Every Camaro SS on here is certainly faster than that S4 was, so in Atlanta at least the odds are good that the guy revving the "POS" next to you is NOT in fact faster. I'm still giving you a 80% chance of being faster in a V6 Camaro.
