I hear ya, my little bro feels the same way about the controller, I bought a PlayStation after market controller shaped like the 360 for him when I cancelled our live subscription. All he plays is COD and battlefield lol so he like the left thumb stick above the d pad.

I'd definitely have to get one of those if I ever bought a PlayStation. I don't really know how people use the controller since I don't have big hands but the controller is still tiny to me.

Microsoft also used the near-two-hour address to showcase a new developer tool called Project Spark that allows anyone to create a game using Xbox SmartGlass and the voice and gesture recognition software on the Kinect platform.
During the demonstration, Microsoft showcased how custom worlds, characters and enemies can be created in minutes, with results playable on Xbox One and any Windows 8 machine.
Dave McCarthy of Microsoft Studios said it places the ““ability to create in the hands of everyone. Start with nothing to bring an amazing game to life. Share any game with anyone on any device.”
The demonstration was particularly impressive and we’re sure we’ll be hearing plenty more about this during the E3 event and in the build up tp the launch of the console.

I was generally speaking about 360.and ps3. Yea both will have new I.P.s and exclusives but don't be fooled Sony has a huge 1st and 2nd party studios and I'm suspecting M.S. is going to be very front heavy and not much later on as the next gen unfolds. Pretty similar to the 360, the first 2 years were great (minus the rrod fiasco, on my 4th Xbox) after that largely just multiplats with 2week timed dlc for COD... Then back to halo and Forza every other year, they just dont have 1st and 2nd party studios that Sony and Nintendo have. Arguably Nintendo has the best 1st party devs as a whole in the industry (though my personal favorites is Sony's Naughty Dawg).

Lol I just heard a joke that Phil Harrison is a double agent sent by Sony (he used to be over Sonys world wide game studios) to M.S. to F*ck their Sh*t up and take them down from the inside lol.

Edit: I liked spark but LittlebigPlanet 2 is one of my favorite games of all time, simply amazing what people have build. Spark don't look close to being on LittlebigPlanets level just yet.

The PS3 controller is a POS. The triggers are worthless for shooter games.

I for one will be getting both systems but at this point in time the Xbox One is looking like the Call Of Duty of Consoles in the sense that its generating so much hate but regardless its going to sell...no matter how shitty it is

It's way overblown. It's just like Apple. Its the "cool" thing right now to hate the xbox. It's not a shitty console by any means. They just made a few poor choices that can be easily fixed.

I've yet to see anything about the PS4 that stands out over the xbox.

It's tied to your profile. You can go to your profile on a friends console and play your games.

You have to remember, gaming is a global market. The US is the ONLY country in the world that has a steady, quality broadband connection to the internet. Even some of the better off countries such as Great Britain and Japan does not have as good a broadband connection as we do. Making the Xbox require a connection every 24 hours, will absolutely kill their global sales. Back when this was still a rumor, I found an article that listed only 2/3's of all 360's and PS3's in the US had internet connection, and only 1/3 of them on the global level.

It is nice that we will be able to do that but I'm not so sure I like the way they do it. To have access to this capability you have to install the full game onto the HDD. A blu-ray disc holds 50 gigs of data. A 500 gig HDD will only be able to hold 10 games at most, less if you take into account the space needed for saves and other data. I would much rather prefer to install a few hundred megs and then stream the game from the dev.
