Microsoft is being stubborn because people can mod/hack and download games 2 weeks early and play them offline with like a jtag Xbox, shot I can easily soft mod with just a USB. The case is just like windows being pirated so easily they said f it we will stop this lol

I've always thought in the back of my mind, why people are so upset about used games, or sharing games. I mean, who shares their games? teenagers and pre-teens. the ones that try to get free shit. lol

Yeah exactly , I'm 27 in a house with just me and my wife and I do t share games with friends so non of these crazy rules effect me except not being able to rent but whatever, the main people this will effect is homes with more consoles and kids but this is just windows all over again used to u could buy xp and load to 20 pcs now u buy one load to 1 same thing nickel and dime u to death. Luckily I'm a Mac user and their os is cheap. This will blow over soon enough, and like u said earlier no more screaming high pitched kids screaming cussing and can u boost me pff lol

First of the PS3 is better because it has a larger HDD. Second it has better streaming and computer connectivity. I have my computer hooked up to my PS3 and I have all of my photos and movies on the HDD. Plus the PS3 has blu ray. I almost exclusively use my PS3 for media function, and it handles all of it well. The 360 has horrible media functionality which is why I think that they're stressing it with the One. You can Skype on the PS3 already I think.

It's the always on that gets to me. Plus I trade games with my friends sometimes, but I could deal without that. It's more of the principal than what it actually does.

Exactly, the principle behind locking me out of my $500 purchase for not being connected to the internet. Its not often that it happens, but there are times that it does. And if I can't even hop on and play through a campaign w/o internet then Microsoft can keep it.

Yeah the ps3 wins against the Xbox 360 on new and better electronics but the new one uses blu ray which is pointless sense most people stream but is good for games so no more multi disc

I was saying that the PS3 was the better media option. 360 is much better with games because of Live. I feel that MS was too busy playing catch up on the media things with the One, while Sony was busy making a true gaming console.

I think about the recent hurricane here in NY where many people lost power. I know a few people who only lost their cable and Internet services. What the hell do you do then? You need something to pass the time, yet you can't get access to the Internet.

Makes me think of activating windows on the phone LOL.

I own both the 360 and ps3, I know everyone has there own preferences, but with the exception of Halo, Gears and Forza, what exclusive are there to play? That's mainly what they have been churning out for atleast 6 years barring Kinect stuff. The surprising thing to me is that the PS4 will have the better looking/running multiplatform games and exclusives while being $100 cheaper and no DRM b.s. Both the PS4 and Xbox one uses the exact same CPU but the PS4 has a significantly stronger gpu hooked up with a much faster memory solution.

I can't play Halo or Forza on a PlayStation. That's enough reason for me not to get one.

It's been like this ever since 360 vs PS3. PlayStation just doesn't interest me in the least bit. And I can't get over how disfunctional the controller is for me.
