Which they say this is the very reason there are so many gopro cams in Russia.

Youtube is full of russian dash cam vids.

I have a droid phone and a car mount for it, it goes right on the windshield and pops up a special screen, one of the tabs that pops up is the camcorder button. If I need I can start recording without fumbling around getting the phone out. Luckily I haven't needed it.

Not true, slam your brakes on the highway on purpose.
Without any reason, you think the cops who show up are dumb.

You may have initial resistance with insurance, they will know at some point how & what happened.

Once I got blasted at a traffic light, the guy tries to bs the cops & tells them I just pulled out in front of him with no warning.

One problem with his story, the 60-90ft skid marks he left because he locked his brakes up.

cops saw the skid marks ha game over for his story.

Had a family friend show up & take pics, sent the copies to the insurance company.
They even paid 100% of my deductible.

The law you must maintain control of your vehicle at all times.
Under normal cercumstances you rear end someone it's the car in the backs fault.

also I got rear ended once, the person also tried to say I was turning & didn't use my signal.

To bad it was a camera light got the whole accident on film.

After the first brake he should have put more room between him & the maniac infront of him.

If there is no witness to the accident it doesn't matter how long the skid marks are.

"You see officer, a (insert animal, dog, deer, raccoon or kid on a bike) pulled out in front of me."

The problem is, the person who did the rear ending needs to be far enough behind to react if any emergency happens. Because there are legitimate times people have to stand on their brakes without warning. This is why I never tailgate, especially not a motorcycle that stops in less distance than a car to begin with.

Besides, what car with ABS leaves skid marks anymore, not that skid marks matter.

Nobody said marines were but I thought it was pertinent to the story as the marines are said to be taking action.
