I am looking at a very similar Shelby, and the first counter back from the dealer was $52,019. What was your tactic to get to $49,000?

Didn't he get $9k off MSRP? With the car options he has, mSRp should be less than $56$ so so at $47k, it would be the best deal I have ever heard of for a brand new GT500.

MSRP was about 58k with the 3 options (SVTPP, Electronics Package, Recaro Seats (this option was a must have and well worth it) ... They had it advertised at the 49k price so I didn't have to do anything .. what brought me in though was the trade in price they gave me on my modded 2SS/RS

That's an awesome deal.
Most they would go down on mine was to 52K, SVTPP,Electronic package, NO Recaros.
(sticker price was 56K)
