I've had to deal with that crap my whole life even when i was in high school only making 400 a week during the summer and now that Im older there's a part of me that starting to think that guys older than me like you that have such a problem with me making the money I do working for my dad don't like it just because they didn't make that kind of money at my age and so they think I shouldn't either. ),and of course the 67 SS plus had a 69 and 01 Z28, an 87 K5 (I owned it three times AMAZINGLY capable suvs for their age) a 78 C10 and an 87 Suburban on 44" swampers plus a Dodge Ram custom and older Lexus in high school but dad bought me those last two so I don't count them. But there's just something about the feeling that I get in a Camaro that no other vehicle can give me

I know what you are saying. I am sure there is a setting that you can turn off "auto-correct" or something like that.

@collins motorsport: LOL!! I get ya mate. I think people here have been too hard on you. Yes, your grammar isn't the best, but it's a lot better than many people here who still don't know the difference between "there", "their" and "they're" and can't spell "loser".
I also get you staying with your dad's company, and your dad getting a bigger motor. Heck that would be considered "normal" I think for someone who competes for money. What comes from experience and age is the art of rhetoric: getting your point across without repetition. |

The ZL1 out powered the Boss. The test should have been 2012 GT500 vs ZL1 either way. |

In the Grand Am, the FR Mustang that won is basically a stripped down Boss - same brake calipers, same cooling, but using different brake pads and different brake fluid. Apparently pads and fluids are the only things that is needed to make a Boss competition ready. In other words, it doesn't need stronger calipers or stronger rear brakes to be fixed. The ZL1 on the other hand, comes with stronger calipers out of the box, but presumably it doesn't have race-ready pads or Dot4 brake fluid either. Maybe the stronger calipers are enough to give this mammoth the braking edge over the Boss? I think it's very clear that there is no chance that the ZL1 will beat the 2013 GT500; the ZL1 is out-gunned power-wise and is matched in handling (with the 2013 GT500 electronic dampers); UNLESS Ford has not improved the 2013 GT500 brakes. I have not read anything yet that indicates anything has been done about the GT500 brakes, but my money is on the brakes being the deciding factor. In other words, people are out to lunch if they think that the ZL1's Magnetic Ride Suspension is the deciding factor on the track. They won't make a lick of difference on a track against a car with track-tuned suspension settings. No, in this race, it's all about the brakes. |

The 2013 GT500 is going to smoke the ZL1 timing; If it doesn't I'd say they're not putting that extra 90hp. to proper use. If it was only 25-50hp. I'd say it's all good but 70hp. (+20, over 7k/rpm.) is just too much power to beat.
