Yeah I should read, "My Daddy's car can beat all Mustangs." Just kidding. it should read, the new GT500 will smoke the 2011gt500 and Z06 around VIR. Wondering why the ZL1 hasn't posted a time there yet. Soon I'm sure. I predict it will be 2:55.

It's only a matter of time until we see a ZL1 lap time at VIR. Aaron Link (driver of the Nurburgring 7:41 lap) has a VIR testimonial here:

The mustang was just the straw that broke the camels back so to speak and yeah I bring him up in examples sometimes and for some reason people want to act like im braggin or somethinb idk what the problem is I look to him for examples because he's been at this longer than me and sometimes I use those examples in conversation and for some reason that offends people. I never said that his vette will beat any mustang in all reality its uselss after a quarter mile my point was that if some shelby beats my zl1 im just gonna tear into it and do what I have to so it doesn't happen again and that everyone should stop being so worried about the gt500 and just be glad to have a chance to own a zl1 but everyone overlooked that to try and act like im some kid playing the my daddy is badder than yours game.

^ Give it a break dude.

Have your daddy order you a new engine, a supercharger or a twin turbo set up, have him buy you the rockets from the space shuttle, because if the driver of the 13' GT500 knows how to drive, you are going to lose every time.

I think the ZL1 will go 2:00:00 FLAT at VIR.

I still think my dad can beat up everyone's dad here.

The problem is you are, I assume, an adult here. There comes a time when you have to come down off daddy's shoulders and stand on your own two feet. I'm not flaming or trying to insult, just giving some friendly and humble advice. Unless your dad participates in these conversations, no one is talking to or about him. We are addressing you. So what your dad has or does is 100% irrelevant in any of your posts unless someone actually asks about him. That's just like someone having their butt handed to them in an impromptu speed competition on the freeway then starts talking about how he has "a buddy with blah, blah, blah" that would smoke the dude that just smoked him.

The moral of the story is, stop talking about your dad so much. I'm sure everyone can appreciate a close, healthy relationship with one's father. But in a car forum, nobody cares about your relationships.

The whole thing is I mentioned something he did as an example of the anti ford enviroment I was raised in, it wasnt even the main point in my post and that was all I even intended to say. But everybody tried to turn it into something it wasn't like I was trying to say oh my daddys vette can handle any mustang or something when no all I was saying is my car can and will be modified to compete with anything shelby is turning out and everyone should stop worrying so much about the GT500 and just enjoy their ZL1. And I've even tried to make that point since but yet everyone keeps overlooking what im saying to try an pick at me for mentioning my dad. If I was the type of guy that people on here are trying to make me out to be I would have just got on here and said well a shelby beats me then ill get daddys 1200hp drag car but did I? No. I just wish people would actually read my posts in their entirety and understand what im saying before they attempt to blast me for no reason

damn man, reading through your posts hurts the mind. Clearly you spent too much time at your daddy's garage and not enough time at school.

Someone who is willing to change so much because they got beat realy has some insecurity problems, sorry it's the truth.
I don't doubt your father is a great man but it's a little silly to change your engine because someone beat you, don't you think?

Even when the one you have couldn't be built any further and you race competitively every weekend? I just don't see the issue here Id understand if it was a street car but he used to make decent money racing on the side. How does the ambition to win make someone insecure
