I believe you're looking for Baldwin Chevrolet...but I would venture to say Motion Performance did most of the hi-perf wrenching for them.
Motion performance did but I remember seeing these cars at Baldwin Chev. When I lived on L.I. we would make special trips to the dealer. They also had some of the first indoor car shows on the East coast in the early 60's.

The 350 has been the main mouse motor since it's intro in 1967. What year did Chevy switch from a carb to the the TBI fuel injection on their pickups?

My father-in-law has one of these he's owned since new...just under 100k miles, 3/4 ton 4x4, sweet truck.

Correct Becky. I was very excited in 1987 to order a new '88 Chevy extended cab. It really changed the pickup world with it's rounded front and updated dash. Also Chevy's first extended cab.

The throttle body was offered for the first time in the '87 model. An even bigger improvement was in '96 going to the sequential fuel injection that bump up the HP from 210 to 255.

Okay Becky take a turn !!!

Chevrolet for the first time passed Ford
in U.S. calendar year sales to become
the No. 1 selling car as well as the top-selling truck.

What Year did this happen ???

Well, I've always viewed the '55 Belair as a total styling and sales success, right up there with the first year Camaro. Take that and the fact Chevy had both the old style and new style pickup; I'm going with 1955.

The earliest family car I can remember we had was a '55 white 4dr sedan with blue interior.

Seems very logical...

But....it wasn't the 1st time year
that Chevy beat Ford...
