Had to have missed OSS personally by about 8 inches. Looks like 5 inches from the door.. it's a miracle he didn't take a souvenir with him. Should see if the officer wants to take a ride sometime.

Also, did you end up getting tagged as a witness in the case (since it happened right there..)

True, and I might, my buddy that was with me knows him. Haven't been asked to be a witness, but would if I were.

WOW! took me a second to realize that was your car in the video. The two of you are very lucky. See now if I pulled you over we would have been talkin' about your mods LOL. Then after that idiot hit my police car you would have been instantly deputized and I would have been in your passenger seat yellin' GET THAT MF'r!!!! That kind of scene is always in the back of my head ever time I'm on duty and stopping a car. But about the flashing lights there is some scientific evidence that people under the influence actually get fixated on the flashing lights thats why alot of them run into police cars on the side of the road. Also its another reason that most states have a "MOVE OVER LAW" to clear the lane immediately next to a stop emergency vehicle with its lights on. Anyway, glad everyone is alright.

You know, I was actually thinking about that! I would have chased the guy down if the officer would have let me glad they caught him though. Yea, I've read that before about the lights, that's why whenever I get pulled over at night and the officer doesn't go to the passenger side, I politely tell them that they would be safer on that side. Most of the time they listen.

Hey, OrangeSS: Did you send the drunk a nice gift at the jail house? Maybe a carton of smokes or some soap on a rope? He did you a big favor - AND he managed to miss your car.
