Pretty much what I've been saying all along. A Driver's race thru and thru. I'll use an example from a conversation I was having once about the Z06 vs the GTR:

AWD versus RWD is more in line with the debate... I am willing to bet that the GT-R because of it AWD system simply hooks up better than the Z06 in the take off. BASICALLY it's a "Driver's Race.." That is when actual SKILL of driving will determine the outcome of a race more so than the cars, being similar in strengths, will.

This is Called "A DRIVER'S RACE"

I have seen cars down by 100HP beat the *** outta a car with 100 more, just because the other racer could shift better than the other... because the guy may have had a bad night... because...

The Mustang (on all season tires no less) MATCHED the Camaro SS in 0-60 and lost by only 2/10ths in the 1/4 mile. Essentially a drivers race... and one that can be matched up closer for by the fact the Stang doesn't have Summer tires like the Camaro. But you say the Mustang is inferior in every way. Then you bring up that its all a drivers race.

Get your story straight before you decide to debate people.

Just to clarify Rouge the Mustang with all-season tires got a 13.3 and the same stang with summer only tires got 13.0. A tenth better better then the 13.1 Camaro, so technially what he is saying is correct. He's just a little harsh with the way he is saying things tho.

Truth of the matter it's a driver race, simple as that. Any slip will result in a loss.

The part about it being a drivers race is correct, I've said the same.

The part about the Mustang being inferior in every way contradicts that when in reality it can match the Camaro. Thats what I was pointing out.

ok cool got you. Yeah that's true, in the end it comes down to what you like. I like both interiors but I like the Camaros better, just something about all that orange I got shining on a bright sunny day.. lol

Both cars are each others equal, looks and options will come down to what the owner desires.

To claim ford didn't improve the Mustang while the Camaro was out of the game is down right stupid.

Remember in 2011 the base number for the GT500 will be 550hp.

Awww but they did have competition from GM. The GTO hit the market in 04 with 350hp and then 05 with 400hp, and was whipping up on the mustang as far as performance wise. GT's didn't want any parts of a GTO. That's just proof tho that the better performer faster car isn't what will sell tho. Many didn't like the looks of the GTO and just over looked it. But there was competition with the GTO and the Charger.
