As far as the steering on my car i can change the settings in the radio menu to stay in sport mode, but i have a 2SS.
Thanks for the info. That sounds like it’s worth the $.

I prefer sport mode for both steering and throttle response. I don’t use tour mode at all.

Sport mode most of the time with the NPP in track all the time.

It has still been cool to cold here in the mornings so this morning I put it into winter mode when first leaving and it worked much better, the throttle was smooth, no touchy throttle when going from a stop.
then when it got fully warmed up I switched it to tour mode and it worked fine.
you just have to wait till it is fully warmed to get smoother throttle, so going to use this method from now on.
I think Chevy should had worked on this more in their testing, I am not a fan of touchy throttles.

I could be wrong but after a cold start your fuel injectors are firing twice each time they fire (instead of once) in order to assist the cats in warming up as cats are most effective once warm. Every car I’ve had has had a sensitive/weird throttle until the car warms up.

After you turn your car on, don’t drive right away. At least let it idle down and then drive. The throttle thing is especially noticeable in manual cars.

yeah I let it idle down and warm up for a couple minutes before leaving but it is usually still sensitive when I stop at my street to get turned on a main city street. it must take longer for 6.2's to warm up as in all the mustang 5.0's I have had I do not remember them doing that.
changing the modes does seem to affect the throttle response quite a bit.

Did you notice the Mustang seemed to have a higher cold start idle?

I had an exhaust on my 2014 and man the high idle was brutal on that.

I know this car has the stock exhaust, but it seems the idle isn't as high when cold and that it comes down much quicker.

I do not really remember the mustang being super high idle, was thinking the SS is louder on cold starts but I do have the valves set to track mode all the time. and yeah the SS may idle down quicker, guess I was not paying that close attention when I had the Mustangs lol.
