Bought my 2018 in May of 2020 as the third owner with less than 3000 miles on it. 1st owner was young guy who ultimately could not afford payment and insurance had to give it up. 2nd was old guy that bought an extended warranty, didn't really drive it, and sold it within 5 months. No idea what that was all about.

I have put Kooks headers, cats, flex, roto, tune, etc with 3 trips to Tail of Dragon and occasional driving at home to keep it from sitting. Not my daily. Currently has 14000 miles on it.

No issues at all.

23 SS 13k miles, no issues. Actively looking for a 18 to trade however, as I keep hearing post-covid 6th gen SS's have a lot of problem. Hope its all bs.

2020 LT1 and I have 12,000 miles on it. It has been a very good car to me no issues I can really remember at the moment. The V8 has been excellent the A10 has been excellent. I do need a battery soon which I plan on getting in the spring or summer of this year and I will replace it with the battery it came with. I have taken it to some autocrosses and I really enjoy taking it on some fun twisty roads.

Unfortunately it doesn’t seem to be BS. In the FB 1LE group I see way too many posts about engines blowing up than I feel is normal.

I still wouldn’t trade your 23 because of that. I’d just get a really long extended warranty. GM truck 6.2’s have a recall on them because it has been deemed the trucks have an issue. If your engine were to blow up, one would think that the replacement engines are finally good again as this whole ordeal is going to cost GM a literal billion dollars. The truck 6.2’s have the same exact bottom end as the Camaros. The heads are the same too. The only difference is since 2019, both sides of the valve train now have AFM in the trucks.

I bought my 16 2SS MT6 a year ago with 75k now with 95k. I've had to replace the original battery and T-stat. Everything else has been personal preference changes.

What was the thermostat doing? Just setting a p0128 code? Or running hot?

I believe that was the code. It would be fine and get up to proper temp and then it would drop below the minimum temp and kick the fans on and turn off the rev match. Replaced the T-stat and it's been fine since.

No real issues per say, probably need to start thinking seriously about a battery (and it is due for an oil change (1 year time, certainly not by the mileage as the oil only has about 800 miles on it, but it is at a year old in the car.))

The only significant issue I had was this one (Code P0700 / U0100 (2020 2SS, A10)) however there was a recall for it which just required a ECM flash from the dealer, not a problem since... I do all of my own maintenance and everything has been fine...

Okay then, I'll "poison the well" even further!
Steering back on-topic to some degree, my 6th gen 2SS has been very reliable with no major issues to speak of. Early into my ownership both illuminated door sills delaminated and were replaced under warranty, then a few years later I had to replace a leaking idler pulley, and that's pretty much it so far. The car still has relatively low mileage, though.

Decadent 1LE wheels pic on my 2020 just for effect... and I've had the car for 14 months, with 40k miles now. It's my DD and just oil mainly changes so far.

There's an annoying rattle behind the touchscreen when running over uneven surfaces and bumps. Living with it. Seems like I'll need a battery soon because it does slow start especially when it sits for a couple days. I'm sure it's original. My rear shark fin camera is totally inop right now. The dealer thought it was my rear view mirror so I got a new one covered by warranty but that didn't fix it. I told him it was the camera but they didn't listen. Will be bringing it back for the new camera and will have them check the chirping sound when running the heat while they're at it. Clearly an issue with the fan under the passenger side dash. Only does it when it's really cold in the cabin but very annoying.

I have a 24 2SS M6 with 18k on it, original owner. Took delivery in September of 2023. No problems so far, I love it. I've come out ahead on every car I've bought an extended warranty on, so I went ahead and got one of those as well.

My only non-factory mod is the 1LE wheel upgrade, which is a must for track days. Plus they're just made for the car ... looks so good with the factory ground effects kit and ZL1 spoiler.
