Anyway, this LME motor has more clearance than the OEM, so it makes sense that it would pass more fluid. It does not consume oil, though.
The MM Catch Can was my very first mod on my car. Had exactly 4000 miles (7K Kilometers) on her. And I posted pics of all the oil on the bricks and charger veins, it was unbelievable. After about 15-20,000 miles, I had to pull the lid again. And Voila,..... none. The MM Catch can had done a great job for me. I ordered it just because I wanted an open system under boost. As for the smoke. Here in Thailand. I don't run the rain guard often. It hasn't rained for months. During rainy season only will I run it. I've never seen Smoke.

Curious. Light smoke comes out of my rain guard minutes after cranking it, but the oil level stays the same. It doesn't consume any engine oil. We've popped Eddie's lid numerous times, and it always looks fine.

It hasn't used any coolant since the head gasket was replaced.

I would like to solve this mystery.

sounds like a job for a gopro and and a light and see what you can detect.

The saga, not surprisingly, continues.

MM now says, "you can't run a pcv can (wild kit per title) like that for sure related to the mess out of the breather.

Change the internal to the race 3" here
https://www.mightymousesolutions.com...yclone-upgrade

Unless you need more than 1500hp of capacity in which case i suggest our xl size race can + clamp which is good to 2k

I also strongly suggest venting from the front of the covers. Is this a race car?"

Update:

"The way it's hooked up with the center you have now for PCV only one valve cover was venting the one that was ran into the old exit port does nothing:"

Mine has been set up wrong from day one.

I'll buy the 3" internals, move the bungs up, and shorten the lines. LME put the bungs on the rears, but MM says don't.

This work was done by the now infamous Shop #1 I focused another thread on. Fakes.

In summary, the infamous Shop #1 sold me the setup in the first image which should have been the second image. And based on mighty mouse's comments yesterday, this error was the likely cause of me pushing out my rear main seal.

I have yet to determine if one can distinguish between the 2 cans just by looking at them from the outside. Because MM is sending me the race can internals which also fit in the wild can.

Something sounds screwy. You should be able to use a Wild can with the -12 line to the valve cover without issue, just like Josh's setup

The second picture isn't PCV that's CCV. A glorified breather. The first picture The red fitting will be a PCV Valve. Not just a bung.

Look at my build thread and you will see a crap load of oil soaked under my blower lid. Found out out after I changed the valve cover I didn't get baffled valve covers like how the factory valve covers work so oil was be sent everywhere. I ended up getting properly baffled valve coves and have not had a drop of oil in my blower since.

The first is what I have, but the second is what I needed. Rather than having two lines flowing vapor to the can, I have only one line because the other line pushes vapor against the pcv.

Two flowing lines will be much less messy for me than a breather. My engine has a lot of ring gap compared to OEM. Top ring gap is .023", 2nd ring gap is .025"
