[QUOTE=2SS Capt;11509980]Oil change day, it is a few days over a year and only 805 miles on the oil...
Captain, you slacker. You should put on at least eight thousand per year.

I painted my calipers to match the car, threw on some custom stickers and added black lug nuts. I feel it came out really clean! I also painted the back of the calipers, just doing the front was really bugging me, lol. No one will see it, but at least I know!

Looks fantastic. Did you clear over the stickers too?

Thanks! Defiantly changed the look of the car. I did not clear over the stickers. Just used the g2 paint, let it cure and slapped em on. They're high temp rated so should be good. I actually misaligned one and had to remove it, and redo with another, it stuck pretty well, so im confident in them staying. I was thinking of throwing a stripe on one of the face of the spokes, but it might be too much. Once I find the matching vinyl color, I'm gonna try it out.

I clear coated the front bumper repair I did today. It's not perfect, but I'm fairly happy with how it turned out for my for the amount I spent to do it... I'll wind up buying a new bumper to replace it sometime in the next couple of years. Or paying someone to repaint the whole thing. It'll work and improve based on the damage that was done to it before I bought it. My splitter and side skirts are supposed to be here tomorrow so looking forward to getting the car reassembled. Weather has been way too warm for January (should be near 0 F but it's been close to 50 F)... so I'm hoping to take it out for a drive this weekend.

![]() Car was 6 days old and had about 50 miles on it in this picture, my wife walked out in the garage and saw this and she said "Holy Hell! What are you doing??? You better NOT break that thing!!!" She saw me trying to "bake" them in the Sun to get the paint to cure and asked what I was doing, told her and she said "Why not just stick them in the oven, it'll be a hell of a lot faster than the January Sun!" (I KNEW I married her for a good reason!) An hour at 300°F and a stinky house later and they were nice and cured!

Well I was going to save photos until it was done, but I got the side skirts and splitter installed today, still need to polish where the front bumper was painted but I am really happy with how the car is turning out. Here's an in progress, the spoiler had to be replaced due to a defective mount on the stanchions so I'm waiting for the replacement which won't be here for another week. The louvers are now gone after 6 months of having them on, and everything is moving to gloss black.

Got the Borla Atak axle back installed in place of the Black Widow Neighbor Haters. Wish I had done this from the start. The Black Widow sounded good and low but it just droned to much at 2k rpm even with Vibrant resonators. Above and below 2k it was great.
The Borla isn't as deep but it's got that incredible sound and ZERO drone no matter what RPM I'm at. Wasn't cheap (especially considering the $900 I've spent so far on the Black Widow) but it came out perfect and wish I'd had done it sooner.

Installed the footwell lighting kit today. I've been watching the price go up year after year, so decided to bite the bullet and buy it. Pretty easy, took me hour and a half with pictures. As most say, it isnt very bright, but noticable. I don't like the driverside led wiring touching the clutch lever, but should be ok.
