Yes, they plug right in. I have had no issues with their function and just drove 8.5 hours, about 550 miles from Darlington, SC to St Pete... no rear seats or carpet in the back. Ride was great, no drone and got 23.2mpg at the "Texas Speed Limit" along the way here. LOL!
Here is a pretty baddass Supra with all sorts of tweaks chasing me for a few laps. |

Hey there!
First of all great build, we love your custom setup. At this time we are not in development for any new Camaro systems, apologies if there was a miscommunication! All new R&D projects need to begin with vetting before they head to the rigorous testing and development stage. That begins with showing interest so I encourage you all to fill out a new product request form, if we get enough requests we will certainly look into developing a new product. We also take into consideration price and if what we design is within reason/budget for owners and the addition of a valve will up the cost to manufacture the system as well as the end price to all of you significantly, which is one of the reasons we did not go ahead with a valve at the time of the release of the Camaro systems. Frankly we felt we had a great product that functioned and sounded amazing without the need for the added cost of the valve. I do want to ensure I set expectations and be clear with you all, we have many projects in R&D as we speak so if we do see enough interest, this is not something that will be available in the near future, we still need to be thorough with design, testing, and production as with all of the systems we develop. If anyone has any questions, we are happy to field them! |

WTF forreal.
Oh well... I'm just glad I got a non drone option and set up with my Corsas. I'll stick to them until something else that's actually proper comes out.

I appreciate your input here but I have been working directly with John Voss for the past six months designing this system, the components needed to make it work and copying him on all the emails/photos & updates I have received from every person interested in creating what I think is the best sounding exhaust system for the ZL1-1LE. These details I shared with you in the Private Message I sent you a couple days ago. This thread has been on the top 2-3 pages of new daily posts for the past several months, and this has been the first I have heard anything negative about AWE building this as an Axle-Back setup or your being a part of this forum. So with your access to this great resource of information here on Cam6, I would suggest you check out all the hundreds of exhaust system posts where someone is looking for a zero-drone or a quieter full flow system like the SwitchPath can provide and lets make it happen. It is clear everyone wants this setup and AWE has the components to build this system as I have proven on my ZLE. Connect with your colleague and see the path we have worked to make this happen. Those who were at Road Atlanta this past weekend have also heard this system and the ability to run the car during the "Quiet Time" session on Sunday morning without tripping the db-sound meter, which was my initial goal in making this work. Thanks!! |

I never claim to insult anyone's intelligence and we certainly are not saying we don't care about your needs. This is just an attempt at transparency of what is actually going on and our reasoning behind it. Doesn't mean it is an end all be all, just a realistic check in on where we are at this time. We created the new product request form so that we could listen to customers and respond accordingly, so again if you have interest in a new system please fill that out so your voice can be counted. We review customer interest as part of our NPD process when vetting a new product. A great example is our Subaru Outback exhaust. I for one never thought we would develop a performance exhaust for an outback (no offense to outback owners) but the people spoke, we saw the interest and we worked it into R&D. When I saw this thread progressing I wanted to jump in to let you all know what is happening on our end as it appeared there was a miscommunication between John on our sales team and OP. |

Not saying that we aren't listening or will never go backwards and design another option, but I also never want to get everyone excited for something that is not happening at this current time, that would feel disingenuous to me personally. If you have interest, requesting that you fill out the form if you haven't already so your vote can be heard. |
