Ive had the original set since June. These work great. Didnt track the car this summer so I cant comment on the PDR "noise" but it has removed the darn helicopter inside the cab.

Has anyone sourced which Mic is being used and worked on a solution to relocate or put a Kitty on it? My GoPro doesn't make this buffeting noise but strangely enough my Garmin Catalyst does with the camera mounted on the windshield. I am thinking it needs to relocate to the roll bar.

It’s in the center behind the rearview mirror in the black thing attached to the headliner.

Ordering a set of the XL now. Do you do any sort of expedited shipping? I have an event this weekend at Barber and would like to try them out.

Thanks!

GoPro mics are far superior over the PDR or Catalyst. Unfortunately both of those don’t respond to wind well at all. The PDR mic is inside of the rear view mirror housing. There has been someone who relocated the mic to the trunk of the car but it’s incredibly involved.

I'll test them and post my experience. Hope the weather will eventually cooperate, given these darn thunderstorms and the incoming arctic blast.
Any testing yet? Want to get a set but am interested in hearing your impressions!

I just installed a similar product just yesterday on my Porsche Cayman from AWE. Install was simple with detailed instructions.

How hard are these to install?

Okay, so I did some testing on the "standard" version of the deflector trim piece at various speeds, up to a normal highway speed and back with the windows down, and the buffeting was 95% gone. Like magic. You can still feel a bit of rhythmic turbulence, but the product works and essentially solves the problem, no more deafening pressure waves, yay

There is a small fitment problem I noticed, though: the top of the triangle leaves a gap from the rubber door seal "plate" (first picture), presumably because the OEM part has a twist near the top edge that meshes better into the rubber (second picture) that Wilder Racing's replica doesn't. Feels like a small deal, though, and hopefully won't cause rain damage as the part does have foam padding around the middle section, similar to OEM, just wanted to call this out to give a full picture.

I'll try the large "track" variant at some point, too, but to be honest the "standard" one is already good enough for me, and I guess the "track" part provides the same effect to higher speed points rather than suppressing wind noise even further.

Installation is trivial, this product uses the same clips as the OEM triangles. Pop the old ones off with a trim tool, press the new ones into the same clip and alignment holes in the door frame, done.
