I fully support this design. Maybe tweak the front end a bit to make them less 4th/5th gen.

Yep agree. Make those headlights more 3rd gen and give me an option for some IROC fog lights in that center grill.

Sorry convertible guys, maybe GM could give you t-tops or a targa top to compensate.

I do like the idea of going back to a lift hatch. I have a 4th gen and it makes loading very easy. Helps visibility too.

Absolutely. Bring back t-tops in as well. That or a targa like Corvette. Sunroofs suck.

I do miss my hatch... I bought and brought home a 6' Step Ladder in my old 4th gen once, can't do that with my 6th gen!

Return of an ICE powered Impala - AWESOME
Introduction of a 4 door Camaro or hybrid - GROSS!

I would enjoy watching a 4 door Camaro fail! LOL!

T-tops are nearly impossible to meet roof strength tests. Especially the side impact pole test (google it). You could probably get it to pass but it would be expensive and too heavy. A Corvette style targa is classified as a convertible and exempted from that pole test.

This is also the reason the GMC Hummer has a Targa panel over the front row and individual panels in the second row.

Did not know that, but it makes sense now.
