Very nice Rob! That should keep Gabe off your tail for approximately 13 days (on the 14th you must feed him more or else he gets angry and starts dropping the B- A - N word).

Yep, I forget we need a constant drip here. MORE CONTENT!!!

Much appreciated. Yep, cajunzl1 is getting the JMS to help support his current build, so it should serve him well.

DSX stuff in general is really impressive to me lately, particularly with all the electronics and control integration. "OEM+" in many ways.

Today's update: As seen elsewhere on the subforum, I ordered the Monster S Triple Disk clutch through GMS. I'd been on the fence about it for months now, and Gabe was the catalyst I needed to just pull the trigger.

Man, this build is getting pricey! In all honesty, though, I likely will have one of the lowest net cost, PD-blower 1000rwhp ZL1 builds in existence when I'm done, due to selling other parts, good pricing from GMS and others, building/tuning it myself, etc. I know this build would cost $55k-60k at good-rep shops when all is said and done. I should be at less than half of that when I'm done.

I have CSP 2” long tubes, and yes, they pretty much fit right in from the bottom.

No, I decided to stick with DI only. It's got the Goliath and XDI +70's, which should take me to the limit of the stock short block on full pump E, or possibly a slight down-mix. I know Josh hit 1050 or so with the LPE pump and +52's at E50 or thereabout. I'm expecting 1000+ at e60 or better with the +70's. Time will tell.

I concur. They are a wonderful fit. I think I put them both in from the top when I did mine. I will say the ball joint on them should really be replaced with a v-band clamp. I'm doing that before I put them on again. I had a terrible time with leaks with that joint. I followed the instructions exactly with the torque spec, but it still leaked. Then I added some red RTV around the joint. Sealed for a while, but then leaked. So I am giving up and I have some v-bands on the shelf for when the whole thing goes back together.

Had the same issues with the CSP's. Vbands are the only way IMO.

Well said... V-BANDS for the WIN, IMO also... I suggest that to everyone.
A little more effort and cost up front, but it's nice to never have a leak, and much easier on and off in the future.

Just a PSA here, take it or leave it. Not all V-bands are created equal. Many aftermarket V bands use machined flanges. Do yourself a favor and run Burns V-Bands. They use a bulge formed flange which to the uninitiated seems like an inferior product vs a machined flange.
Machined flanges warp like a SOB. The Burns flanges work and don’t leak. Rob I believe you said you’re an engineer, there is a reason why OEM’s use this style band. Yes they are pricey, they are worth every penny.
