One of my garage door openers needed replacement, so the Camaro and her stablemates got some fresh air (and away from the guys with power tools lol)!

BMR engine mounts (drivers side is a PITA, bolts are in reduculous locations)
Toohighpsi valve covers (entirely unnecessary - I'm a whore for good machine work)
Toohighpsi billet tstat housing
Skip shift patch harness.

Enough for one day, I'm whipped. Funny thing is, the actual supercharger kit installation is really quite simple. Looking forward to putting the icing on the cake.
Bravo! Those look fantastic! Nothing wrong with making it look as good as it runs! Love those motor mounts, I think those are a MUST when doing headers. Be sure to throw in some Brisk Racing Silver Plugs while you're in there!

Wait another few weeks… it’s positively gorgeous here in central Massachusetts during the fall. We get tons of “leaf peepers” that come to the area to see foliage.

Appreciate it. 2highpsi stuff is world class quality. The mounts are definately a PITA, but very much worth the space gained as you mentioned.

As for plugs I grabbed some NGK LTR7IX-11's. Hopefully those work out ok.

Car looks fantastic!!

What made you choose the Eddie vs the Maggie? Which one has larger bricks for cooling? I keep wondering this as the Whipple has port bosses built into it's base, so it makes me wonder if you were going to do Port plates & updates accordingly, why not that choice?

Thanks for the feedback.

Thank you. Originally, the CARB/warranty stuff is what got me thinking seriously about the eddie. That part of the equation has turned out to be much more marketing fluff than anything. I am uncertain whether on the difference in brick size between the two.

One of the other items, which you mentioned already, was the port injection bosses. The eddie unit has those, just need to mill the holes. Take a peek back at the pictures I posted and you will see the casting locations for the injectors.

Overall the kit is pretty good. 90% GM OEM components with edelbrock stickers on them. Hoping to have time to get it all back together this weekend. I will be making a standalone post with all my ups and downs with the kit - as I'm sure there will be many of both.

Added a matte black version of the ZL1 wing to it today and swapped out the pedestal spoiler. Need to get some new clips for the trunk liner as they broke while removing (even using a trim tool). Once I fix the front bumper I'll get the rest of the aero added from the track package.

Very nice progress! That's a lot to get done. You'll have it all back together in short order.

Thanks, Rob.

I've built a lot of engines over the years, mostly JDM (1j/2j/1uz,VG30,6g, etc), formula 3 and old BBC. They all have their quirks full of unique do's and don'ts. Trying to be methodical with this reassembly, really want the reliability to be on par with the performance. We need an LTx bible that houses all of the findings/shortcomings and improvments/reccomendations all in one place. Tons of good information on this forum, and some very bright people here. But it's still quite an ordeal to find answers to things that I would think be commonly posted.

Planning to knock out the rest over the next two days.
- JMS fuelmax GMP2
- Headers and exhaust back together
- DLG-1 widebands
- 95mm LT5 TB (need to look and see if the adapter plate from JRE should be opened up to match eddit inlet)
- set the eddie in place and make final connections..
- reassemble front end

Question for you guys: I was hoping to pressure test the new fuel system prior to setting the blower in place, for obvious reasons. Obviously understanding that the engine needs to rotate for the HPFP to build..
Is there a procedure for this? or does everybody just bolt it all together and prey while clutching their fire extinguisher?

I contemplated pressurizing the high side with helium from a K bottle and borrowing a mass spectrometer/sniffer from work. Probably overkill...

Great car but if may, I'd like to give you some constructive criticism/advice. The big spoiler and the rear window louvers are just too much together visually. Lose the louvers and it'll look much better. That's my opinion so don't take offence.
