I normally get my 3Rs from USAA, but the last set was from Schram on ebay, leftover tires from Camaro production. The SuperSport R's were also from ebay but there aren't anymore left from that seller. I liked those tires, but even with their low treadwear (<100), they did not have 3R level of grip. They wore great on the track and seemed to be not very camber sensitive like the 3Rs are. Great feel and feedback on them make for a great street tire.

I’m glad to see you’ve got a good deal on what you were trying to buy. This thread is a good example of the value forums bring and how important it is to allow others to verify/help, even when you’re sure of something. Of course, it’s important everyone stay civil.

Thanks for the info! I've never purchased from USAA but I'm also not a veteran.

I have purchased from the same person on Ebay and I agree with your assessment on the tires. I got 6 full days out of the SuperSportR. Damn great value!

I have two sons that served, but I recall there are other Goodyear discounts available through SCCA or other groups. 20% vs the USAA 25%.

Should these tires all have a double blue line that runs around the tread? I just received the fronts from tire rack and they have the double line. The rears that I bought from Walmart don't have the double blue line. Internet says it's a quality control thing? Just wondering.
