Yes, toe changes quite a bit with a change in camber and must also be adjusted when camber is changed. The camber plates on the ZLE are not really intended to be flipped back and forth for street and track. They are there to allow for more camber for track setup and then left that way.

I guess I should have known better. I've done my alignment many times and know how sensitive camber & toe is when you simply tighten a nut. I just thought the ZLE had some magic sauce with their plates. Like, when you flip from street to track and it provided .05 more toe out. Lol. Wishful thinking! |

Need more camber, that's what its there for - to even out tire wear. Depending on the track you might need to rotate the fronts. Also you need to let the tires warm up or you'll get more side wear as the tires roll over.

I now start my day at 30 or 31 psi, and let air out as needed at the end of each session. While this does sometimes result in getting a bit too high towards the end of the first or second session, it does protect the font shoulders much better. Take a look for the goodyear eagle wing/shoe on the tire shoulder. Your wear pattern after a session is supposed to come right to the top edge of the wing but not beyond. If the wear pattern is coming down below and eating away the wing/shoe, you're rolling over the shoulder too much. |
