Hi Spez, I created the bypass resistors but mistakenly used 3.9 ohms instead of 3 ohm resisters. Do you know if the 3.9 ohm resistors should work. I'm still getting a message to service my suspension. Did the 3 ohm resistors you used eliminate the service message?
Thanks! |

@BobLadd58
My resistor did not work for long time. I had several days later the "service suspension" again. But FE3 (SS) and FE4 (ZL1) magnetic ride may work different, I know a few who don't have issues with their SS running 3 ohms. In my case, I only replaced front driver side resistor with a 1.5 Ohm resistor and kept all other ones with 3 Ohms, no more issues. No warning lights but I had few codes stored in the ECU when I checked. Probably because different signals, but idc as long as I have no warning at each start. ChatGPT said front driver side is most important and causes a warning light if the car notices something is off. Front passenger side is important as well, but not as much as the driver side. And rear axle barely matter because it is not responsible for steering. My setup confirms it. I heard stock suspension is at around 1.1 Ohm.
