My TB is port matched to the adaptor which is then port matched to the intake. All three taper as if one.

Sorry for being elaborate, just wanted to make sure there was no misunderstanding that it wasn't just an off the shelf 95mm to 87mm adapter, that it had been custom ported to match the LT2's ported inlet.

You didn't need to RTV or make a custom gasket for your adapter to manifold?

No need to apologize
I retained the o-ring on the intake and the Katech adaptor has an o-ring on the TB side.

Here's a better shot which would better explain. 103mm in from the TB and tapered down to 93mm into the intake. Nice even flow.

thats solid! If i can do it over again with my mods i would have just gone katech 103tb to ported msd maninfold and call it a day. Only flaw is checking the msd bolts backing out after a couple heat cycles. It will make more more power in the long run!

Unless you're heads and cam, you wouldn't really benefit from the 103 tb into the ported MSD. That's why I went with the LT2 setup for now. So far, I've had to re-torque the manifold bolts several times. Not sure why they're not really taking.

I plan on adding a SC package next year but I wanted to maximize my gains in the meantime.

Finally put the car together after getting the snout ported.. had some leak with the gasket, now it sealed well with RTV. felt the car is more smooth and higherf low torq

I like it. I have to work out the adapter porting for my setup. With the LT4 HPFP I have to run spacers to raise the manifold. I was going to make it a more permanent bond once I got the setup running and put down some numbers, then go back and refine the setup. I can say for sure, I don't need any more than I already have, it's just icing on the cake as it were. I plan to step down to a 4.0 pulley, bond the adapters to the manifold, then port match (or as close as possible) to the heads. I didn't plan on porting the snout, just running the 95-87 adapter with LT5 TB but after looking at your setup I might have to work that snout. And I love giving Katech my money, so that works out too.

Will be nice to have a before/after for those specific upgrades, too. I'd probably leave the 4.0 pulley for the dyno, just to see what/where gains are had without changing blower speed. And then get my next bump. Tuner says I have enough pump/injector for more boost... it's just not good enough until the LT4 hardware is whooped. LOL

Thank you sir. Your setup is very impressive
I feel that based on your build, you would benefit greatly by getting that snout ported to match. I haven't put her on the dyno yet, but very curious myself to see the results. What kind of power are currently putting down?
