WOW! Just got Kooks Long Tube Headers installed in my 2017 Camaro SS and you won't believe the difference. Literally my car sounds like it's on steroids. Anyone interested in Kooks LTH please don't be afraid. Headers are definitely a gateway mod and it's worth every penny !

My kooks 1-7/8 headers came with a heat wrap and adheasive strip with zero leads where they go

The wrap is 1.5" i.d.

The strip is 2" x 12"

Any help is appreciated

I’d guess you use it to protect the passenger side wiring harness over by the coolant overflow bottle. And perhaps the steering joint.

Do yourself a favor and send your headers out for ceramic coating before installing them…

Thanks for the reply to my inquiry. I bought a 10ft piece of harness heat wrap for the passenger side harness that I'm about to To install and also use anywhere of concern.

I wasn't sure if the adheasive strip was for the coolant bottle or really what location it was intended for.

The headers I wrapped with DEI titanium wrap and then silicone coated (also DEI)

Sounds like you’re in good shape. Wrapping them will help a ton.
