If that's DSX standard procedure (I saw the video with the green goo), then the green goo should be included in the DSX kit. Yep, there it is. Might be this one but there is no picture, so you might want to give them a call (314) 396-7333 to confirm as well as ask them for advice on how to address the leak (be it just with sealant, or if they have some other solution).
Aftermarket companies have been pulling this kind of hack work as long as I can remember. It’s a bad idea period.

one of the wires goes to the DSX sensor as well (it was hard to trace).
So what we be the need for this? there is already one in the tank plus the high pressure pump. (I dont like seeing my tank tapped like that cuz its a spot for future failure, gas leak. next step is to see where the fuel line taps in?

I saw a youtube video on how to tap and install in fuel tank and they put some kind of sealer around the fitting, does anyone know what sealer you would put around a fuel tank tap? i need to reseal it and i dont want to use JB weld but i cant think of what would be best?
The reason for this is for more fuel system headroom. The low side is the first area that needs addressed in the fuel system. Previous owner likely was running E85. Check for a flex fuel sensor in the rear of the Supercharger area. Or the car might have had even more mods but was returned back to as stock as possible before sale.

You two are 100% spot on. Drilling below the fuel level in the tank is a hack job, no other way to put it. It’s a safety issue as well, not to mention you’re tapping a tank that was never structurally designed to hold an NPT tapped opening in the sidewall. NPT uses tapered threads to seal and there is NO WAY you get enough thread-to-tank engagement in a thin plastic tank. And if you have any kind of accident that connection will just snap out of the tank below the fuel line, dumping 15 gallons of fuel into an accident scene. There are obvious reasons why OEM does NOT do that. Use a low side system that goes on top of the tank using a proper hat at the top with the fuel pumps submerged like multiple manufacturers offer. The fuel helps keep the pumps cool and lasting longer to boot.

If I was going the aux pump route, I'd buy this guy:

https://almperformanceanddesign.squa...p-w-aux-pickup

He's a member on ctsvforums and started making these several years ago.

Alternatively, just build this up on your own.

Yep that’s a much better solution for an aux pump setup. Although if you’re going to drop the tank and change the internal pump you might as well just do dual/triple in tank pumps and get it over with.

100%. When this guy started making these it was a great solution to keep a PWM return-less system with an aux pump. Now that DSX and Katech have their drop in setups, I personally feel that's the way to go.

FYI the Fore Innovations triple system will make more power than either of those two systems you mentioned so if you want big power Fore is still the gold standard. Now if you’re doing road course or something like that then the Katech & DSX offerings are plenty and make more sense since they use a bucket. But since these are muscle cars there are plenty of us drag and roll racing with big power so it’s worth mentioning.

They just always seemed like a PITA to me with the return line, the regulator, the electrical upgrades, etc. Now that the DSX is available it says it supports 1200rwhp on E through the stock line, so the Fore is reserved for REALLY big power at this point.

Not knocking the Fore, it just seems like the DSX will now handle the needs of almost everyone except for ZL1Atlanta.

To be frank, I’ve yet to see 1200 WHP on full E through the OEM fuel line. And no one has done it with the DSX setup either to my knowledge so I guess I’m still skeptical on that one. Katech uses the same line and rates theirs as 1000 WHP capable if memory serves.
