Took off the cover and put the battery back in after a long winter. Rain today but hopefully tomorrow she gets a bubble bath and the first run of the season!

Spring time. Happens every year for all cars.

Definitely pays to shop around too. Dealership offered my $25,000. Carmax offered $26,400. Then Carvana $32,000

Been wanting new wheels so just out of curiosity I grabbed one of the wheels from my Monte Carlo and set it on the car. I just wish they fit because I think they'd look great on it.

A combination of things, on top of being a little gun-shy since this is the first car I've had tinted. And the car is garaged and I use a sunshade whenever it is parked outside.

One of the big concerns was that the "now I can't see the instruments" feature would activate significantly earlier than it does already - an annoyance I'd eventually like to work out a fix for (in addition to a toggle switch for the passenger seat sensor that would allow me to occasionally change my playlist through the infotainment screen without pulling off the road).

Spot on, with one tiny footnote for this last one - any darkness is allowed on the back windshield if you have dual side mirrors. A given for modern cars, but something that was an issue the first time I was looking into tinting the windows on a seventies car that only had a driver's side mirror.

I have 50% tint on the windshield (of this brand), which results in 35% overall light passthrough (because the glass already has 70% from the factory), yet there has been no change in visibility, daytime or nighttime, external or instruments in any way. My car has 35% physical or effective tint all around, which looks very consistent.

The only reason I brought it up is that the majority of UV radiation enters the car through the windshield, and it'll cause your dash to fade and crack over time, not to mention the damage to your skin.

If you don't want windshield tint, at least use 303 Aerospace UV protectant on the dash once every 4-6 months to preserve it (here's a purchase link). This is a tested, proven solution, I use it as well even though I have tint all around.
