According to Google. Theoretically a car in even in 80 degree Fahrenheit weather could approach 172 degrees Fahrenheit on the interior. Which is at 77 degrees Celsius seems to be at the higher end of the range where PLA which this is made out of will deform

PLA should only deform under load at those temps. There shouldn't be any load even in those crazy hot summer days to cause deformation.

We should have more stock soon. The response to these was higher than expected.

I bought carbon fiber trim that covers the center console. It adds some height to the plastic surrounding the mode/tc buttons. After installing the trim I haven't hit the buttons inadvertently again, but YMMV. That 3d printed cover looks horrible but I'm sure some think the cf trim does too.

It has been almost three years since I installed the silver version of that CheroCar trim cover from Amazon. No inadvertent mode changes since then, and the silver finish roughly coordinates with the color of the door trim. It was a great solution for me - well worth the 30 bucks.

Batch 2 stock sold out in just over 24 hours. Batch 3 is ready, just needs to arrive and have it's inspection and assembly and then they will be ready as well.

I'll be checking back on the thread occasionally. Would like to pick one up in case I want to bring my dog on a drive someday.

Great idea for a product, and I think they look good at that price point.
