I don't believe so... If you have a local powder coating service, I would expect this to only cost about $45 or less...

For those who were wondering.... even with this taller lid, and when installed with the GMS Hood Bracket, you still have another 1.2" or more of clearance for the port plates or thermal spacers your choice!

Very Interested! Everyone wants everything, including me, so I'd like to see the comparison in IAT's AND HP on a stock blower and an X-port. Also interested in powder coating options, specifically, bronze.

HAHA, love that quote... "everyone wants everything"
I would add myself to that list also!

I would not anticipate any change in IAT's... but I am expecting 10rwhp for my car. We will see. Like others have said, I did not upgrade the lid for a HP gain, mostly cosmetic. If I got 10rwhp, that would be a bonus. DMS said they got 20hp on a stock CTS.V for what it's worth.

As for powder coating, due to the small production runs on this product I would not expect custom colors. I think it's best to take this to your local powder coater or anodized for that custom finish.

I just sold one today, and the gentleman is going to get a red anodized coating!
Can't wait to see that!

v3's got the worst lt4 lid for all years (same as low pro for early c7s). so they actually do gain from swapping to one with more volume

Any updates? Also, can you run this without a tune?

Well, what are your thoughts now that it has been on for a little bit? Did you pick anything up over your previous lid? I’m torn between this one and a DSX lid. Doing it for the extra whine mainly.

Sorry for the late response... initial feedback is I love it. Best looking LID on the market IMO. Lot's of options now, so it should be easy to find one that fits your style.

I recently borrowed an OEM lid, and did some back data-logging this weekend. I still plan to dyno back to back, but I have not had time (takes 2/3) of a day based on drive time. Reviewing the data logs now.

I was shocked at how quiet the OEM lid is vs. the DSX. I would say the volume went down 60% or more while cruising and 50% at WOT. Putting the DSX lid back on, brought all the beautiful whine back!

Stay tuned for more...

I think the DSX lid is the best value on the market... but after seeing the DMS in person, and having it installed... I would not change it.

I still plan to DYNO. But at 770rwhp there would be no way to "feel" a difference while driving the car. That said... I didn't upgrade for power, I upgraded for looks.

Received my new DMS lid from Gabe, along with his hood vent bracket. Both pieces are top quality, and arrived fast. Sent my lid out to be powder coated to match my cars color, can’t wait to put it on.

Thanks! I wasn’t a real big fan of the raw aluminum, so figured I’d try paint matching it to the car.
