Arrow NEWEST LT4 LID on the MARKET

Man-o-man was this worth the wait! Just got my hands on the newest LT4 lid on the market developed by DMS and Verus Engineering.

This bad boy looks even better in person! It has 25% more volume, and as you can see from the video link below, was designed to have the best airflow path on the market thanks to its curved and complex shape.

Although making this shape for better airflow, and larger plenum take more material, time and a larger 5-Axis machine, I think you will agree, this is now the best looking LT4 lid on the market!

I plan to do a back to back DYNO test with my old DSX lid soon... stay tuned for more. More photos and write up in the link below!

Nice.... Question.... Is it taller off the supercharger than the stock piece?

Two things to point out here...

1. Because its taller, it may not have hood clearance with port injection plates.
2. Taller doesn't necessarily mean better. There was a great test done on Youtube by Florida High Performance called The ULTIMATE Camaro ZL1 LT4 Supercharger Lid SHOOTOUT. I can't link it here because the mods will delete it but they tested most of the lids available today and the tallest lid with the most volume did not win the test.

My opinion, lids make very little difference at all and this was proven by the Youtube test and they're most cosmetic and some buy them for the added sound. As long as you're buying one knowing this, then its all good.

Hey Z OH 6, I agree 100%. Several other companies have claimed some wild HP gains, which have not been independently proven. I believe LMP did see 35rwhp on a max effort build, but I don't recall the exact number.

When it comes to airflow dynamics, I get confused easily . I still dont understand how the larger tighter turning elbow on the big gulp makes noticeably more power and even boost over the standard, but it does.
I dont understand exactly how critical the porting that is 1/4" above and below the valve seal will make or break the flow characteristics of a set of ported cylinder heads.... but it does. The same could be said for finish of the intake runners, etc.

Like you said, no one is claiming crazy HP numbers (I will when I see then on my car)... and agree. In general, a LID should always be considered a cosmetic improvement... which is why I originally purchased my DSX... and now have the new DMS lid... it is a work of art IMO.

Check out the video I was talking about on Youtube, its VERY informative. I posted it here once and the mods deleted and warned me.

Can't wait to see the back to back dyno testing. We'll find out if these engineers at Verus know their stuff.

Indeed. I emailed them asking for any additional info / modeling / data they could share from their development... stay tuned!

Now thats some badass bling!! Hopefully it produces some equally awesome horsepower gains.

Looks really good. Interesting how the front is differently shaped than the rear—that’s probably how it better balances the airflow between the front and rear cylinders. Curious how it compares to the DSX on the dyno.

Will there be any powder coating options available on these?

I remember them post and the video..but why was it deleted (and you warned)? Posting informative videos are bad?

Apparently the forum owners treated it as advertising even though I had no affiliation with the shop that did the dyno test. It was very informative for anyone that was interested in an aftermarket lid.
