If this is referring to the "Transmission Damage May Cause Wheel Lock-Up" recall... I believe if you are under the recall you can go in and they will flash an update to the tcu. The updated programming monitors wear of some valve and if it begins detecting it it will limit gears 6-10 until valve is replaced. Only problem though is... I guess there are no replacement valves available or some such.

No parts? If that's the case, seems like a complete replacement would be in order.

A pedestrian drive for the first trip after my wash and detail weekend. Trying the Wolfgang's WOWA sealant for the first time. It looked good in the garage! I'll have some better pictures once I manage to get the car out before sundown...

I had it professionally detailed and ceramic coated. I figured I'd give my shoulders and back a break this year, and I am glad I did.

Unwrapped it from its winter hibernation and went for a drive.

Beautiful. Hope you were in 2nd gear
Oh and when 30k comes along, give it some gas to blip the tach to 3k ...or maybe you could take another stab at reaching 22,222 miles doing 2222 rpm and 22 mph in 2nd gear

You're such an enabler

I can't wait for my next milestone! My next one will also be 20,000 I guess. If I catch it I suppose I could do a 15,000 actually... My problem is I always leave the oil temp gauge up, so the mileage only shows when I get in the car. Gotta actually remember to switch it back to the main page when I start getting close.. Which is hard because I gotta see my oil get to temp before I'm comfortable switching it away.
