Thank you!! I am loving it thus far. I do have one thing that I am being a bit OCD about and not sure if I should be lol.

The only two times I went WOT, I punched it and I did go, albeit I felt the back wiggling every so slightly and I did not feel like the engine was giving me its all. When I shifted in manual mode and rolled in, pulled like a champ. I have brand new all seasons on it and it was 30 degrees out.. so safe to say this was just the nannies keeping me planted and not sideways?

My last experience with a RWD this powerful was the 2009 CTSV coupe, which certainly let you know when all the nannies were keeping you on the road in an abrupt fashion.

Just want to make sure she's running as she should be =). Purchased from a chevy dealer with a full bill of health (they even threw in a diff flush for free after I requested it).

Removed the front tire air deflectors. Good riddance.

I live in Phoenix, AZ and notice the nannies noticeably cut power (throttle input) below around 65*.

Regarding the rear wiggle, I'm not 100% sure the nannies are a contributor, but believe they are; I don't have enough time with them fully off to say for sure. It could be the tires and/or alignment also. I have a rear subframe lockout kit and rear toe links (w/ lockout), but still get wiggle with nannies on.

Pulled the right front wheel and dropped it off with the new tire to get that mounted. Wife hit a curb last week, looking at the aftermath it appeared she peeled some of the sidewall rubber back. She didn't check to see the condition of the tire before getting on the freeway. After about three miles the tire failed dramatically. Luckily she didn't lose control so dodged that bullet. Just picked that back up and installed it, we dodged another bullet because the wheel didn't require a bunch of balance weights and the inner and outer rims look to be running true.

Also removed the original battery to replace it (it had been on its last legs for a while). Whoever designed that installation is not a friend of mine.

Installed the new battery. Broke a tab on the protective cover that fits over the positive terminal block, was able to find a replacement on line along with the trim piece that has the moving door where the convertible top goes up and down. Those are ordered and on the way.

When I was testing things, the e-brake button wouldn't go down. Messed around with it and there is a white plastic piece keeping it from moving. I tried getting it out with no luck, but I did get it moved out of the way. Not sure if it is something that broke off the bottom of the release button, or something that fell inside. Have to figure out what I'm going to do to fix it permanently.

Engine Bay - accessories

I ordered painted engine bay parts for my 2024 Camaro 2SS Coupe from RPI Designs and American Brother Designs.

Can I ask where you found the cover and the cost? I broke mine and my dealer quoted me $98.00. John

It was the cheapest place I came across. Hardest part was finding a site that had diagrams showing the parts so I could get what I needed. Got an e-mail earlier it's on its way, I figure will have it by Saturday.
