Just installed the newest, largest, most highly engineered LT4 supercharger lid on the market!!! Holy SH*T does this thing look BAD ASS in person. Best looking lid on the market IMO. More pics in the link below!

For my oppressed CARB California brothers and sisters - Just got another order in.

I've recently had success using the CERTS on non GM Performance intakes as well and they have past the visual inspection during SMOG. (K&N Black Hawk & Roto Fab)

I figured the Smog tech would confirm the CARB cert's number, not just assume it was correct. Have you had your stickers get declined as not legit as well? I don't want to go through the motion and fail the visual if it's not fail-proof.

The Cert Numbers are correct. I have them for both the Camaro and C7.

CHP looks for the sticker if you are ask to pop your hood on the road. They usually run a quick google image search. The cert numbers are correct and the proper intake picture pops up. Most of them don't know our cars like we do or when production gaps started. Just like they don't know if your break pads would be copper free or not.

Most smog shops want your money and don't research. Tell them you have a cert. Show them its on the intake and that's that. Even if you're using the red filter vs blue, I haven't had any issues with people using it on the CAI unit's at all. Recently people have had luck on other non GM systems like the K&N along with the Rotofab. I guess it all depends on where you go. Its a visual inspection. The shops know they wont be able to upsell a Camaro owner a stock intake to pass. I would venture to say 99% of them would go home and come back or pull the stock one out from the trunk and install. If you have a tune though that's where the problem will be.

If your build gets sent to a "State Referee" its already for more than a CAI. Cant win there.

Remember - lots of dealers forgot to put these stickers on the intake or they got lost in the shuffle. These were typically put on by request only. This is a great option for those who dont want the 20 minute hassle of doing a swap or storing the stock intake.
