Brought my mistress around to a few local dealers for some pricing. Looking to sell her. Of course I received some lowball numbers.

Hesitant on selling locally with Camaro theft up again in 2025 this is why I went the dealership route.

Can you guys help me with a number. I've included the build sheet.

2023 Camaro 2ss Rapid Blue

Loaded without the sun roof

Miles : 2771 <today>

Aftermarket Upgrades :

Full Front PPF + Side Rockers, Side Skits and lower rear bumper.
Ceramic Paint Protection
SS 1LE Satin Black Rims
GM- Sport Pedals + Dead Pedal
Full Ceramic Window Tint including front 30% all around
GM - Performance Air Intake with valid CARB Cert
BORLA NPP Catback Exhaust w/ Satin Black Tips
GM - SS Embroidered Floor Mats
Dioad Dynamic Black side markers
Custom Textured Satin Black Rally Stripes (on top of the PPF)

-Have all the original parts that have been switched from the original build except for the stock suitcase NPP exhaust (kept the SS exhaust tips).

-Original rims and tires are protected in their own tire bags with felt faces.

-Still has primary Cats and NO aftermarket tune has been performed.

-Factory Warranty good till 9/26

There's nothing close to this in California to get a decent comparison.

The only comp I could find is in NE but it doesn't have the 6 piston brembos or magride.

How I upgraded it - she has everything the 2SS 1LE has except the 3.91 differential which makes mine lighter. If someone wanted to track - New diff diff is around $1500 installed by GM w/GM parts.

Thanks Guys

That's a beautiful car! ....I think you'd probably get more traffic if you started a dedicated thread. Best of luck.

I did... Got some moderator approval needed and that was a few days ago.

Appreciate it. She's a clean example of the 2SS. Just not willing to take a bath on some of these offers...
$38K.....heck, I'll buy another one for that 😂.

I watch this 6th Gen section enough to know the desirability of these cars. Why are you selling it? Really looks nice, GLWS!

It's the copper frees. GM's version of the California special.Wasn't a fan of red but GM did an amazing job on gloss black

Too many issues in the state. Im pulled over for doing absolutely nothing. It's always you were going a little to fast which means Vin check. Just let me enjoy my ride down the coast of highway one. I've also been followed home....my family's more important.

my kids are driving soon too. Avoiding potential issues.

That's an absolute damn shame, sorry to hear...

I haven't been pulled over once in mine since I got her new. No one should ever be harassed for driving a fast car safely.

I completely understand. That color definitely demands attention but it's a shame that the attention is sometimes negative and the being followed part is rather unnerving to say the least. At least you have owned it for a while and maybe someday when your situation is a bit different you'll get onto another modern performance vehicle. Until then you can still enjoy your '67 Stang!

I agree. LA County is the worst out here. CHP is cracking down too. The street races and theft has just killed things.

Most of my stops the guys have been very honest but its getting worse. You can be taking a drive down the coast and you'll have 3-5 sports cars pulled over in a group. California is becoming the slow death of me.

I bought my blue beauty for canyons and coastal driving and its just become an absolute nightmare. I could understand if my windows were JET BLACK or if I wasn't running NPP......(the cracks and pops are stock and coming down a canyon road she absolutely rips but out here they now only allow Touring or Snow mode). There's a certain DB reading they come and measure and the branded bola tips on a stop throw up a major red flag to them......list of issues just goes on for days. Over all I'm a very responsible. I've done my pulls on the 101 when traffic allows so don't get me wrong but I'm not cutting through traffic like a 16 year old in their 2004 Nissan Sentra beater with no cares in life.

I'm trying to get close to $50k here. Its what I would pay right now for garaged and protected 2SS with under 3000 miles. All my mods are done properly and professionally. Even my catback welds are pristine and done right with out clamps.

Not trying to be political, but there are only two solutions to this problem, you either get out of CA or, better yet, you all change it to something more palatable.

I don't know if I'm more surprised that people in California after all these years of it being in decline, finally noticing it....or more surprised that people actually tolerant of it. I lived there for 15+ years due to military service and than contracting. One visit to a decent state with an open mind and it was life changing....you need to hook up with @socal.m6.zle or @radz, they seem to have the inside scoop as to get around all things illegal and CARB BS in that state
