Looks great, congrats

What about the other one in the pic, do you now have two in the family perhaps?

The red one is my son's 2017 SS. I've been storing it for him for the last three years while he was stationed overseas. He's now stateside and taking his car back. I had to have one of my own.

Sounds fantastic, here's to you enjoying your SS for a long, long time

That’s awesome! Thank you to your son, for his service, and he can now enjoy his Camaro!

Congrats to you on your purchase as well! 🇺🇸🤘🏼

He's been enjoying it plenty since he's been home. He'll get to take it to his next duty station to enjoy it more. Me, I'm already trying to figure out the mods I want to make.

Glad to hear that. It’s great that each of you have a killer Camaro SS to enjoy.
As for yours, if it’s an M6 , a skip shift eliminator should be high on your list.
For appearance and paint protection, perhaps some Xpel PPF for the nose and rocker panels, and some rock guards to further protect the lower areas.
As for performance, they’re fast and fun off the lots, so it’s up to how fast you want it to be. There are CAI’s and tunes, on the lower side, and headers and bigger power adders, if desired. Enjoy! 🇺🇸

I think there is a skip shift eliminator already installed. A CAI and a tune are on the list. Tune primarily to improve drivability more than power gains. I already have some rock guards in my Amazon cart. I'm also looking into a wicker bill style spoiler, I like the look better than the pedestal style.

Perfect! Off to a solid start with it, then. 🤘🏼 Enjoy!

I added a Flowtie from a ZL1 grille onto my SS 1LE. A member here had a damaged upper ZL1 grill for sale and I bought it. Lots of work to make it look OE, but worth it!

Fun Fact: The ZL1 Flowtie is two piece. The chrome part is plastic welded onto the black backer which is integrated into the entire upper grille. The casting # of the chrome piece has the same # as the original 14-15 Gen5 Z/28 Flowtie part # 23468210.
