I agree with cdrptracks. At 83k miles your engine will probably blow up soon unless you’ve not done that many track days with it. At some point LT1’s do eventually get “tired” and need a refresh.
If you’re worried about the SS 1le not being much of an upgrade versus your standard SS, you’ll find out the first time you take it to the track just how much of an upgrade it is. Also ptm is really nice. Last point I disagree with others about your trade in value. The 83k kills it but most importantly this time of year trade in values are low AS ARE the prices of the cars themselves. So your trade in will go up in the spring but so will the buying prices of the zl1/ss 1le. Also if you must get an A10 then limit your search to 2021+. That’s when the SS 1LE got The A10. It’s worth getting one still under warranty for piece of mind on the track.

With that ZL1 $$$ budget you mentioned why not keep your 2SS as a daily and pick up an early ('17 or '18) SS 1LE for track only duty? Just curious, are you driving to the track or truck/trailer?
