There are a bunch of those 2SS's out there at $28-30K, now is the time to trade the six banger and go for smoky V8 burnouts


EDIT: I did the same btw, traded my 2LT for this 2SS after a couple short months back in 2018, lost about $9,500 on the trade but never regretted it (only that I was stupid enough to think a V6 would suffice in the first place, haha---and someone else got themselves a very, very nice 2LT with several extras, I even painted the RS front grille inserts garnet red for that car).

I LOVE the Aplha chassis man. The wife wants a bigger house somewhere in the country first.

Even with the V6 this car hits dives into corners, unlike her old 2016 Mustang. Which I’m eyeballing a S650 PP instead, keeping my alpha car

I upgraded my subwoofer amplifier from a Hifonics Zeus 1200W amp to a Down4Sound MM1000 Mini Maxx amp, running a CT Sounds 10" Tropo 650W sub. Upgraded mostly for more power, and smaller size. The Hifonics was an extremely tight fit. It's a whole new sound for me - I'm hearing bass like I've never heard it before during the 10+ years I had the Hifonics. I'll clean up the wiring in the spring when the weather warms up a bit.

Objective evidence indicates that you shouldn't have been stupid enough to think that 450hp would suffice either! BTW, I resemble that remark also, lol

Jim, you're trying to mess with my rationalization But seriously, the car felt like a different beast every step of the way, almost like a new car except with a familiar interior, and I can honestly say it has just enough power now, it's perfect. Now how was I supposed to know where this point was when this is my first (okay, technically second, see above) Camaro?

Yeah, I'm pretty sure there is at least one other person in this thread who went through a similar journey By the way, how is your blue beast doing? Everything okay with the injectors, no oil leaks, full power at the track?
