Added a few Carbon Add-ons. I was reluctant, worried they would look cheap, or tacky. To my surprise, they look fantastic, and are high quality. They now coordinate with the carbon wing and hood insert. Should have come like this from the factory! Also, added a branded license plate cover for car shows! Cheers!

Installed ZL1 addons lift pads (raw finish). There's not much to see since I didn't lift the car to install them, so no pics.

Finally got a chance to install one more suspension part... BMR upper control arms.

Now I just need to install the toe rods (maybe today), front and rear sway bars and end links, and get an alignment

Kind of rushed through the upper control arms install as I had to leave on a cruise with the family the next day, lol.

Decided to remove the “sound deadener” under the stock LT4 blowers lid. After removal I really didn’t like the 4mm (0.157”) flat step that is directly above the blowers discharge port and along the entire underside of the OEM lid. So I quickly wrote up a CNC program (10mins) to mod the underside of the OEM lid and clamp it down on one of the CNC’s and make a change. Rather than having a flat surface that the compressed air hits, I modified the lid so there is now a nice tapper. Being that the lid is cast, I didn’t want to run the taper along the entire length of the lid removing the webbed section of the OEM casting and possibly weakening the structural integrity of the lid. Whether or not this mod “actually” nets any power gains is unlikely however its fun being able to mod something that I feel is an improvement and a little lighter. Surprisingly when I took the car for a drive I immediately noticed an increase in blower whine. Maybe the removal of material has less absorption of the blower noise.

Bought a new to me 2017 2S 50th.

I finally got back in a Camaro! I was able to pick up this 2017 SS 50th with very low miles.

I bought a 2015 SS new and sold it a little later for a pickup. Much needed at the time and more practical for a daily driver. But now I have this as my third, fun car. Should be keeping it for a long time, glad to be back on the forums.

Even so, was 6 Degrees (C) today and the roads were clean and clear of salt. Took a little drive in the rural area around where I live, stretch its legs a bit.
That's too funny, I was doing the same the other day. I spent way to long trying to get the 50th decals just right in GT7.

Nice, looks good!! I wonder if I can get a matte black hood on my car in the game...

Also, I should take one of those cool action shots with the Camaro, what a great idea! It's one feature I haven't fiddled with much yet
