I would really love 275/35 fronts and 315/30 rears as that would put me damn cloase to OEM SS specs (wheel/tire height) (as you know)... Plus 315's out back would be great! (I hated my 275's, Love my 305's but even a touch wider (0.40") would be great with 315's!)

Honestly, I'll probably go with the Atturo AZ850's again, I never drive in the rain, they balanced great and they hook nice, and you simply can't beat the cost... So I can have fun burning them up without much guilt!

You can always add a 3mm spacer to the front if they rub, it would still only poke like a OEM 1LE rim. Did you just not like the look of 275's, or was it the actual tire you weren't fond of ?

^^^ as White1SS says, a pair of 3mm spacers will easily make up for the difference if needed. I used ones from this company while running the MRR 017s myself, but cheaper ones abound in the lower bowels of the internet (ebay, amazon), too. The 1LE poke I'm okay with, whatever mpg loss it causes is offset by the aggressive look

I was getting close to needing tires and always wanted the SS 1LE wheels, so I bought the MRR017's and a friend had a set of Atturo AZ850's in 1LE size that only had a couple hundred miles on them he sold to me for a really great price so I jumped at it... I did always feel the SS needed more width in the back so I feel the 305's look a lot better than the 275's as the 305's are about 1.2" wider...

Just to put your mind to rest, Captain, I just retested the rubbing on both sides at full lock, and the 275/35s don't rub. It is very, very close, though. on both sides, the gap is definitely less than 1/8", I'd say about 1/16th or even a bit less. I imagine as the tires wear, clearance will increase slightly.

Remember, this was measured at full lock when you have the wheel turned 100% to the left or right, nobody drives like that for long, this is why even the 285/35s didn't rub through my liner in 4 years, not even close.

I agree, aesthetically the 275's just aren't wide enough for a SS. The 305's and 315's are just a much better and more aggressive look. I also will be getting Atturo AZ850's when the time comes, I think they are a great all around tire at an affordable price.

a few small things

I finally got around to doing a few minor things to my ride.

Had installed:
- window tint (llumar stratos 80% windshield, 40% sides/back)

Did myself:
- de-badged sides/rear
- washed/clayed/paint correction/polished/ceramic coated
- cleaned and ceramic coated wheels
- swapped brake pads to PowerStop Z26 pads (for less brake dust)
- installed black lugs & locking lugs
- installed smoke rear reflectors
- installed DIY NPP switch - inspiration from here: https://www.camaro6.com/forums/showthread.php?t=613102

Decided to tame the car out since it's been a few months. Got in the car, closed the door, and the little push buttons for the cruise control on the steering wheel fell off. Kinda shocking seeing how I never used it and the car only has 10k miles. So off to trying to find this part.

Added some more decor to the garage! Had my electrician wire in a lighted Griot’s Garage sign to the same switch that lights up my unused original Camaro taillights.

Haha, great minds and all I did something similar with my original tails in March, but I still need to clean up all the stuff around them (oops)
