Steps of my detailing process (taken from Pan the Organizer on YouTube): 1. Dust with a leaf blower. 2. Spray down with pressure washer adjusted down to about 1000 psi. 3. Spray under hood and all over engine bay with Koch Chemie Green Star. 4. Clean underside of hood with brush. 5. Spray down engine bay with Griot's Garage Foaming Surface Prep, using an electric foam sprayer (shown in pic 1). 6. Clean down the engine bay with an assortment of brushes. 7. Rinse with pressure washer, dry with leaf blower. 8. Dress engine bay with Meguiar's Hyper Dressing.

Just to give an update here, I got the car back and it looks absolutely amazing, practically brand new. Fantastic paint correction, PPF and ceramic coating job from a crew of true professionals Nearly all paint defects are gone, fillm cuts are nearly invisible, edges tucked wherever feasible, the ceramic was applied without any high or low spots, gloss and depth in the sunlight breathtaking.

(Yes, I had them install 2024 Panther badges. Their chrome edge matches the SS and bowtie badges perfectly, the italic font looks better on the car, so a win over the heritage 5th gen badges that I used to have, even though the panther silhouette isn't the designer's best work. And no, I won't post the price, haha.)

This is my silly way of getting a "new" Camaro, heh. She already has all the power I'll ever need, and the old PPF from 2018 was starting to show some age, took many rock hits, too, so it was time for a refresh.

I wish I had gotten side skirts sooner, as both rocker panels had some small "snowflake" looking hits from before side skirt installation that couldn't be fixed without respraying, but that's okay, nothing is perfect in this world.

I pulled the trigger today and bought the GM lowering kit. I got lucky and found a dealer that still had stock. Next week is header and tune so I'll probably have the kit installed the week after. I'll post before and after pics.

Looking nice! Those rock chips on the rockers make me want to PPF that area more than the OEM film it's insane how many chips hit there

Yeah, the rocker area takes a hits a few even with side skirts and rock guards. It's completely covered in PPF now, and the PPF "track pack" they installed includes some coverage behind the rear wheels, too.

The shop actually talked me out of a full body wrap, saying it carried a very low benefit for a relatively high cost, because the trunk lid and the rear bumper are unlikely to be hit. Honest folks right there. I requested PPF for the roof, though, because the front edge above the windshield is so exposed.
