This is one of the reasons why I took the path to installing Carbon Ceramic Rotors. No more brake dust or rusty rotors. Yes its expensive, but so worth it. This should have been an option from GM day 1 on the ZL1 in my opinion.

100%, and that is such a good looking car! If that color was available in ‘23, hands down that would have been my choice!

Thank you everyone for the great suggestions! I tried driving my Corvette back and forth in the driveway a few times and that definitely helped. Also like the idea of trying Hyde’s too.

If I may ask, what rotors are these? OEM Corvette ones, or something else?

Having recently installed new rotors and pads, my car isn't due for a break job for a while, but dropping some unsprung weight is appealing.

The easiest solution is for you to drive back and forward with the brake pedal lightly applied. I usually let the car go backwards on my driveway while tapping the breaks. No rust at all.
Car sometimes sits for months
