Loud pop coming from exhaust on start up
Hello all, I've noticed that when I start my car I'm hearing a loud popping noise coming from my exhaust. Not too certain on what the issue might be, any help would be appreciated. thanks

Sounds like a backfire... remove and inspect your plugs and wires.

Is it used? Did you buy it from a dealer? It may have a burble tune on it !!! LOL secondary cat delete and your asking about pops? ROFL... is it shooting fire yet? Happens in mine always at the worst time, i always shut it down when i get pulled over, and whenever i start it back up i warn the officer it may pop, that im unarmed and not to start shooting...

A backfire is combustion BACK (BACKfire) through the intake. Not the exhaust.
I don't know how many times you guys foul up a definition like that. And a backfire sounds nothing like what you think hit's at the tailpipe, if you've ever even had a backfire. |
