Just like L2SS455 I was also planning a multi-state trip but not risking the chance on getting my car stolen while traveling. Definitely understand it can be done locally as well.
![]() Went ahead and contacted GM regarding the security/software update. Much like ostriches their heads are in the sand when it comes to knowing anything about this. Nevertheless i provided all the info and Tammy gave me a case#.

And thank you for sharing yours. My this is actually turning pleasant and polite. Kind of like Camaro5 used to be way back when. Seriously, hanks again for that.

I just called and filed the complaint as well. Maybe something will come of it.
Who's going to call next? |

![]() Agree that if more folks call and inundate their call centers with increased claim numbers something just may happen. So who's next?! |

Maybe enough in the class GM will get off their ass and do something to mitigate the damages from future people who might suffer the same fate as the main plaintiff that filed this suit. The law firm is the Kazerouni Law Group, APC, and their number is (800) 400-6808. Giving them a ring tomorrow. Might not do nothing, but worth a shot. |

I hate to res an old thread, but I find it interesting that Holden Commodores are now South Australia's most stolen vehicle since 2023: https://www.drive.com.au/caradvice/t...hy-they-do-it/
This article is from December 4, 2024. And, unironically, its seems its for some of the exact reasons Camaros are targeted: -Easily hacked by progamming new keys -Plenty of them around (can blend in with the public) -Hot market for discontinued parts
