Can't remember the guys name on here but he sold a sharkskin zl1 on apex sm10's out of Chicago....he didn't have any issues and I love those wheels so I ordered what apex has available for my car...they looked great on his and he didnt say he had to do any shaving when I messaged him....guess I'll just fit these ones on when they come and see where I stand....mine isnt a DD so I have time to mess with it....

You will love them for sure. Going from stock to these wheels just the weight savings alone is enough to convince me. That’s without even getting started on appearances

I just installed the Apex VS-5RS on my regular Zl1. Got the 19inch in 1LE specs, also installed eibach lowering springs. No rubbing on fenders, or front struts, stock camber plates. It fits perfect and ride hasn't changed much, other than the car feeling more nimble. The poke is not bad at all and it is very similar to 1LE.
